An independently-owned truck wash on I-35 that spent nine years earning trust the right way — one wash at a time.
Blue Steer opened its doors in 2017 on a piece of I-35 frontage directly next to the Flying J in Cotulla, Texas. We built three bays, a full service island, and a crew trained to wash rigs the way their owners would — not the way most truck washes cut corners.
Nine years later, we're the only full-service truck wash for more than 50 miles on this stretch of I-35. Not because nobody else tried. Because the drivers and fleets we serve won't settle for a drive-up self-serve bay when they can pull in here and get a proper clean.
We use one brush and only one brush: the Blue Steer hog's hair brush. Soft natural bristle, built for truck finishes. It costs more, it wears faster, and it's the reason a Blue Steer wash comes out the way it does. Every truck, every bay, every shift — same brush. That's a standard, not a preference.
Forget about Blue Beacon. These guys are simply amazing. Super fast and great job. Highly recommended.— Chris Robert, Google Local Guide
Most washes have one or two bays and a long queue. We built three, plus a dedicated appointment bay. The line moves.
Wheels, fuel tanks, and trim polished in under an hour. Not a single other truck wash in America offers this in-and-out.
Trained crews. Premium products. Armor All Professional, Extreme Shine Wax with Carnauba, Rain-X. No automated brushes beating up your paint.
Pull in any time — or book ahead if you want a guaranteed bay. Automatic 7th wash free. Free interior clean when you spend $100 at any Cotulla fuel stop and buy a wash. Fleet portal live now. No gimmicks.
The name comes from the blue steer statue standing in front of our facility — a landmark drivers spot from the highway. The bull is the Texas in us. The blue is ours.
We're independently-owned, not a chain, and committed to this corridor. When you pull in on I-35 at Cotulla, you're pulling into a business that's been here nine years and plans to be here nine more.
